UNC Finley Golf Course

Home to North Carolina’s men’s and women’s golf teams, this Tom-Fazio designed course has earned 4.5 stars from Golf Digest. The course received an $8 million facelift in 1999 from Fazio that allows each hole to have five tee boxes and stretch the total course yardage from 4,981 yards to 7,187 yards. The course was originally built in 1949 but needed an overhaul as it got older and had draining problems.

Speaking of overhauls, the clubhouse renovation was completed in August and it sits at 10,000 square feet, doubling its previous size. There is a brand new restaurant and lounge area, so golfers can relax pre or post round with a beverage or food item of their choice.

The course also has a driving range, putting green and a lessons.
